Running Facedown is a Punk Rock band from Montreal, Canada. The band called themselves that way in honor of a band name suggestion that was made by their friend and brother, Jason Senecal Turner, who passed away in 2007. The actual band was formed in July 2009, but the two founding members (Jeff and Louis) actually began playing music as a hobby long before that. It was in 2005 that they jammed for fun, without thinking of their future as a band. But they soon discovered that music could be for them more than just a hobby. Without many unsuccessful trials to form a band, they got in contact with Phil in summer 2009 where they started to jam as a trio. Running Facedown was seeing its first days as a band. But something was still missing, and that something was found as Kevin joined the band a few weeks later, completing then the quatuor that forms the band today. Running Facedown was complete and started writing songs inspired by punk movement bands like Blink 182, Rise Against, NOFX, etc. On Christmas 2009, RF went to record the band’s first 6 songs and prepared for the upcoming shows in 2010. The year 2010 was a great year for the band; RF played in multiple shows in the area of Montreal, Drummondville and southern Quebec. The band participated
