Mute - Bates Motel

from La Punkerie Vol. 1 by Lapunkerie.tk

about

Fast, technical, and melodic are just a few words that the punk rock community uses to describe MUTE’s music. Composed of Marc-Antoine Bastien, Étienne Dionne, Jean-Philippe Lamonde and Alexis Trépanier, MUTE has spent the last 14 years taking a 100% DIY approach to bringing its music to the masses! The group has four albums under its belt - Blueprints (2001), Sleepers (2004), The Raven (2008) and Thunderblast (2011) – that have been distributed in North America, Brazil, Japan and Europe. The band has also filmed five music videos over the course of their career.

MUTE has played more than 500 concerts in Canada, in the United States of America, in South America and in Europe. The group was fortunate enough to share the stage with bands like Bad Religion and The Offspring, and to tour with bands like Rise Against and Strung Out.

Tireless and faithful to its devoted and hardworking DIY ethics, MUTE has no intention of slowing down. With a Canadian tour (Fall 2012) and a fifth European tour (Spring 2013), MUTE is, and will remain, a force to be reckoned with in the punk rock world… You have been warned!
